How can I find out if you published new articles?

How did you learn to cook and bake?

I just like most of other people, the beginning of my cooking memory came from my grandmother and my mom. After I grew up and went to college after independence, I began cooking for myself. Because of living abroad, I missed the taste of the food I had when I was a child. The Chinese restaurants abroad always somehow is not quit authentic in my taste, so I decided to try restore the flavor of my mom did.

Since 2020, when the order to stay at home, l begin to become more serious about cooking, and put more efforts to learn how to cook! I usually will collect several versions of the same dish from the Internet (YouTube and Xiachufang), and then experimente and combine with the memory I had with my mom’s cooking, to reconstruct a version that I thought was the most suitable.

Do you create your own recipes?

As my architecture professor once said, most of us are not able to create a completely new thing out of the air, we just rationally optimize the existing design. Most of the recipes I share here are collected from the Internet and modified, I will indicate the source or reference recipes in the article. But I will try my best to optimize the taste or cooking instructions modify then publish. I believe that no matter you are a talented chef or a kitchen rookie, like me are able to follow my cooking recipes to make delicious, authentic cuisine at home.

What kind of food do you share the most?

Most of the time I mainly focus on sharing Asian cuisine, Chinese food, Japanese food, Korean food and bakery food or other foods from Asian countries that will also appear in my blog. Occasionally I will share some simple western food too.

Do you make money from this blog?

I put ads in my blog, and when visitors read an article, some ADs will appear. If visitors click on the ADs or the ADs are being viewed a certain number of times, I have the opportunity to receive a dividend from the advertiser. At the same time, I’m also participated in affiliate marketing program for online sales sites like Amazon (which means that if you buy something from Amazon that you see on my blog, I’ll get a small percentage of the sales and you won’t pay any extra for that).

Blogging is now my full-time job, which requires a huge investment of time, energy and money to update content and maintain the website, so I will put a moderate amount of advertising in my blog, thank you for your support and encouragement. I also try to work closely with publishers to make sure the content will be products that my visitors are interested in and not upset about them. If you see any inappropriate ads while reading my blog, please take screenshots and let me know so that I can improve as quickly as possible.
